My Non–Winning Entry

Writing about web page

This is the photo that I didn’t get round to submitting for the Radio 4 Winter Photography Competition.

was very pleased with it at the time, but on reflection the winner and
runners up are so amazing that I’m not sure what I was thinking.

I’m still moderately pleased with it though – which is why it is here:

To be honest, it’s quite cool 🙂 I’m sure it looked even prettier in real.

Nice photo, but clearly much too contemporary for the tastes of the Radio 4 judges (and Radio 4 was holding a visual arts contest because…?!).

I’d won the competition, I’d be very annoyed that the webpage publisher
had used such horrible jpeg compression and made my photo really ugly!

Nice pic. I submitted this; link

it didn’t even get hosted, and that pic of the sheep that was
shortlisted was rubbish, nothing striking about it at all. Bah!

    Thank you.

I like yours Tom. Did you get up extra specially early on purpose?!

where i moved to, it was like that for ages one sunday, so i got a load
of shots of frosty fog and close ups of frost encrusted plants etc.
